 Our government is old and has become obsolete, existing beyond its expiry date. A deterioration mirrored by the fracture in our society, a nation divided with no way to bring us back together. There is no going back to the way things were, to a past no longer relevant in this modern world. The American people have changed too much, transformed with the advancement of technology.

Where once the reign of the Sovereign States ruled supreme, necessitated by the obstacle of time and distance; travel and communication, often a difficult and perilous endeavor. The States were vital to America's success, serving now only to hinder our progress and future. Seeking only their prosperity over all others, their selfish demands creating strife through a war waged for control and dominance. A parochialism that fuels a crisis that will only end in disaster.

Their control of Congress must end. Election to Congress must be opened to all law-abiding citizens, no longer bound or monopolized by the States, the pretense of residency used as a false reason for control. Its purpose degenerated. An abuse by many politicians to simply fulfill the requirements to run for office without any true loyalty or devotion to the people or State.

While the States are necessary for the administration of localities, they are no longer needed for Congress. Our elected officials must not be burdened by the demands of a State, but free to focus on the well-being of the nation and the world.

A world increasingly hostile to America. A world rampant with foreign industries and pollution. A world turned to materialism, the priority for wealth, and the unceasing extraction of resources like there is no end. The looming threat of a nuclear holocaust, of extremism and terror; our fears perpetuated by politicians creating the rise of an authoritarian government.

The very fabric of America disintegrating before our eyes. Lost the American Way, lost; all the reasons that made America great. We are surrounded by injustice and inequality, compassion turned to intolerance and hate. To imagine the mortification of our founding fathers to witness America and what it has become. And to urge us to break the bonds that tie us, to once again declare our independence.

America's future and survival must start now, a government whose priority is not only for America but the survival of all humanity. Not to wait until the limit of the earth is reached or to see a world revert to an agrarian society when the oil has gone. While some may wish to see such an outcome, to think that our creator instilled in us such great curiosity, only to relegate us to a single planet, the height of arrogance, but a creator who wishes to see us prosper and thrive beyond earth and into the stars, to delve the secrets of the universe and there perhaps find the meaning of existence.
